Jeffery R. Jones has been practicing law for over 40 years. He is member of bar in several states, and possesses an expertise in Real Estate Law, Condominium Law, and Business & Contract Law. He is an AV Rated Attorney, which means he has attained the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards.

For five years, he was the Chairman of the State Bar of Michigan’s Real Property Law Section’s, Committee on Condominiums, Cooperatives, and Planned Unit Developments. His practice areas include Condominium Law, Real Estate Development, and Business/Corporate Transactions.

Since his admission to practice in 1976, he has written over seventy sets of condominium documents which includes detailed legal development work for a resort community in northern Michigan comprising three 18 hole golf courses, six condominium projects (in excess of 450 units) and over 600 hotel rooms; Detroit’s Chrysler Lynch Road Assembly Plant (the commercial condominium conversion) and appropriate documents for other commercial developments and additional condominium work. He has represented over sixty five condominium and/or homeowner’s associations.

He received his B.A. (with honor) from Michigan State University and his law degree from The American University, Washington, D.C. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Virginia State Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar.

He has authored and/or co-authored six articles in the Michigan Real Property Review, all related to Michigan condominium law and/or practice. During his thirty plus years of practice, he has given numerous seminars for continuing legal education series, real estate practice groups, and the like, including five such seminars within the last twenty four months.
